Galaxy 11 was manufactured by Hughes Space and Communications and launched on December 22 1999 from Guiana Space Center, Kourou ELA-2 on Ariane 44L rocket by Arianespace. After the Intelsat/PanAmSat merger, it became Intelsat Galaxy 11.
