Intelsat IV, 1975
The first Intelsat satellite of the fourth series was manufactured by Hughes Aircraft Company and launched on May 22 1975 from Cape Canaveral LC-36B on Atlas SLV-3D Centaur-D1A rocket by Convair Division of General Dynamics.
