Intelsat I, 1965
Intelsat I (Early Bird) was manufactured by Hughes Aircraft and launched on April 6 1965 from Cape Canaveral LC-17A on Delta D rocket by Douglas Aircraft Company. It was the World's first commercial communication satellite.
